Hello, we are a passionate group of professionals committed to honoring the last request of Daniel Calazans to his mother and sister. Danny wanted his family to create a nonprofit to help families navigate the complex system involving mental health and substance abuse, from early signs to better treatment choices.
Daniel wanted other families to know what his family didn't do in time to advocate for and save his life. The organization Danny envisioned is a source of information for families with children with Generation Z, the age group born between 1997 to 2012. Danny's generation.
Research indicates that Gen Zers are currently the most stressed demographic. For example, the American Psychological Association (APA) reports that: 90% of Gen Z experienced psychological or physical symptoms due to stress.
The Daniel Calazans Foundation provides advocacy, education, information, and grants for novel forms of treatment for psychiatric disorders and substance addiction.
Please allow us to introduce ourselves.
